Condition to Expect:
WOMENS REG & PETITE JAG. When purchasing clearance or liquidation apparel, it’s important to understand that these items may not be in perfect retail condition. Below is a detailed list of potential issues and expectations regarding these pieces:
-
Clearance Stickers:
Some pieces may still have clearance stickers attached. These stickers are often easily removable, but occasionally they may leave a slight residue. A gentle adhesive remover or warm soapy water can help clean it off.
-
Liquidation Stickers:
A removable liquidation sticker may be applied directly to the garment or its tag. These are typically easy to peel off, but some care is advised to avoid damaging the item.
-
Missing Store Tags:
At times, the original store paper tags may be missing. While this does not affect the functionality of the garment, it’s worth noting if you are purchasing items for resale or gifting purposes.
-
Incomplete Sets:
Some pieces may have been part of a set, and parts of the set may be missing. For example, a two-piece outfit may only include the top or bottom. However, the remaining item is still wearable and sellable as a standalone piece.
- Missing Bonus Items:
Occasionally, a piece meant to include a bonus item, such as a belt or scarf, will be missing that accessory. This does not impact the garment’s core use but may require finding a substitute accessory if desired.
- Stains:
Occasionally, garments may have minor stains, such as dust or dirt from being tried on in fitting rooms. Rarely, stains could be makeup or food-related. These are usually removable with spot cleaning or a gentle wash. Most do not require machine washing.
- Signs of Wear:
Some items may appear slightly worn or may have been worn. While we aim to remove items with significant wear, minor wear-and-tear can sometimes go unnoticed. Items with major signs of wear are typically excluded.
- Stapled Tags:
Liquidation tags are sometimes attached with staples. To remove them without causing damage, carefully slide the staple out and gently stretch the fabric with your fingers to restore its shape. Ripping staples out hastily may damage the material.
- Small Rips or Tears:
On rare occasions, there may be small rips along seams or underarm areas that were overlooked during sorting. These are usually simple to repair with basic sewing skills.
- Unnoticed Imperfections: Despite our best efforts to sort and inspect over 10,000 items weekly, it is impossible to catch every imperfection. Customers should anticipate that some garments may have flaws we did not see during the sorting process.
Important Note:
These conditions are part of the nature of liquidation and clearance items. They are priced accordingly and often provide excellent value for those willing to address minor issues. With a bit of care and attention, many of these imperfections can be easily resolved, allowing you to enjoy your purchase fully.
